The Bogle Young Professional of the Year award recognises outstanding services given by a young professional. The award purpose is to perpetuate recognition of the outstanding services given and contributions made to the survey profession by Archibald Hugh Bogle, CBE, a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Surveyors, Councillor, President, Editor of the Journal and Member of the Survey Board. The award was created in 1969.
The award may be made annually to any member of S+SNZ and who is not more than 35 years of age on 31 May of the year in which they are nominated and who has, in the opinion of the Council, made a significant contribution to the profession of surveying.

Nominee Information - the individual nominated needs to have been a current member of Survey & Spatial NZ for a minimum of one year at the time of the nomination.
This award is part of the S+SNZ Excellence Awards that will be presented at the S+SNZ Conference GSI Awards Evening in Auckland, Thursday 10 September 2026.
